A bill to amend the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act of 1966 to require the establishment of standards related to rear-mounted lighting systems.

Requires the Secretary of Transportation to establish standards for motor vehicles with rear-mounted lighting systems. Provides for equipping such vehicles with various colored lights to indicate: (1) forward motion with and without power from the vehicle's engine; (2) turning; and (3) braking.
