A bill to establish within the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare a Home Health Clearinghouse to provide elderly persons with a single place where they can obtain complete information on the Federal health programs available to them, and to create within the Department an Assistant Secretary for Elderly Health with responsibility for all health and health-related matters involving the elderly.

Establishes within the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare a Home Health Clearinghouse. Directs such Clearinghouse to establish and maintain a computer system to gather information on services and benefits available to the elderly through public and private agencies. Directs the Clearinghouse to publish and keep current a publication describing services and benefits available to the elderly under Federal law.

Creates in the Department an Assistant Secretary for Elderly Health, to perform specified duties, including the coordination of Department policy relating to the health of the elderly and coordination of the interagency task force on long-term home and institutional care of the elderly.
