Amends the Flammable Fabrics Act to prohibit the manufacture for sale in commerce or the importation into the United States of articles of interior furnishing intended for use in any public facility unless such articles conform with requirements established by the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Requires the Consumer Product Safety Commission to establish regulations requiring that such articles be made fire-resistant.
