A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to require that social security benefit checks be mailed in time for delivery prior to the regularly scheduled delivery day whenever that day falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or legal holiday.

Amends Title II (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act to provide that, if the delivery day for benefit checks under such Title falls on a Saturday, Sunday or legal public holiday, benefit checks for such month shall be mailed for delivery on the first day preceding such designated day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or legal public holiday, without regard to whether the delivery of such checks is made in the same calendar month for which such benefit checks are issued.
