A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to provide that interest on bank deposits shall not be considered income for purposes of determining an individual's eligibility for supplemental security income benefits or the amount of such benefits.

Amends title XVI (Supplemental Security Income for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled) of the Social Security Act to exclude interest on bank deposits from the determination of income for purposes of determining an individual's eligibility for benefits under such title or the amount of such benefits.
