A bill to amend title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to provide increased protection to employees' religious observances and practices.

Amends the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to prohibit employment discrimination on the basis of religion, unless the employer can demonstrate that accommodation of an employee's religious practices is not possible without severe pecuniary or other material loss.
