Amends the protection of jurors' employment provisions to permit the court to award attorneys' fees to a prevailing employee who brings an action by retained counsel.
Authorizes the court to: (1) assess against a defendant employer any attorneys' fees and expenses incurred by the court on behalf of a prevailing employee; and (2) award attorneys' fees to a prevailing employer only if the court determines the action is frivolous, vexatious, or brought in bad faith.
