A bill to amend section 13 of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to require findings of adverse effects of pesticides and other chemicals to be based on objective scientific data.

Amends the Fair Labor Standards Act to require that the Secretary of Labor, in determining whether to grant a waiver of the application of the child labor provisions to certain agricultural labor, base a finding that the level and type of pesticides and other chemicals used would have an adverse effect upon the health or well-being of such individuals on scientific data developed by the Environmental Protection Agency or the Food and Drug Administration.
