Prohibits the operation of commercial supersonic aircraft over the navigable airspace of the United States until: (1) the Congress, by law, approves findings by the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency that the operation of such aircraft will not have a detrimental effect on persons on the ground or the environment; and (2) the Secretary of Transportation has submitted findings to the Congress that such aircraft meets specified noise and safety standards.
Requires such aircraft to meet the same noise, environmental, and safety standards as those already established for other commercial aircraft.
