Age Discrimination in Employment Amendments of 1983 - Amends the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 to remove the existing 70-year upper age limit to which the discrimination prohibitions apply, thus extending coverage to all individuals who are at least 40 years of age. States that no exceptions to the prohibitions are permitted based on the nature of employment of an individual or entitlement to retirement benefits.
Repeals mandatory retirement for Federal civil service employees, District of Columbia employees, and Foreign Service employees.
