Federal Anti-Child Pornography Act of 1983 - Amends the Federal criminal code dealing with the sexual exploitation of children. Increases the criminal fines for sexual exploitation of children from $10,000 to $100,000 (from $15,000 to $200,000 for a second or subsequent conviction).
Redefines "prohibited sexual conduct" to exclude any simulation in a visual medium that, when taken as a whole, has serious literary, artistic, political, scientific, or educational value.
Permits authorization for the interception of wire or oral communications in the investigation of such offenses.
