Washington Wilderness and Fisheries Act of 1983 - Designates the following lands in the State of Washington as components of the National Wilderness Preservation System: (1) the Olympic Wilderness in the Olympic National Forest; (2) the Quinault Ridge Wilderness in the Olympic National Forest; (3) the Mount Baker Wilderness in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forests; (4) the Hidden Lake Wilderness in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest; (5) the Higgins Mountain Wilderness in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest; (6) the Eagle Rock Wilderness in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest (7) the Boulder River Wilderness in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest; (8) the Clearwater Wilderness in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest; (9) the Alma-Copper Wilderness in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest; (10) the Glacier Peak Wilderness Additions in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie and Wenatchee National Forests; (11) the Nason Ridge Wilderness in the Wenatchee National Forest; (12) the Trapper Creek Wilderness in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest; (13) the Methow Wilderness in the Okanogan National Forest; (14) the Pasayten Wilderness Additions in the Okanogan National Forest; (15) the Golden Horn Wilderness in the Okanogan National Forest; and (16) the Cougar Lakes Wilderness in the Gifford Pinchot, Mount Baker-Snoqualmie, and Wenatchee National Forests.
Requires the Secretary of Agriculture to study and report to the President on the suitability for preservation as wilderness of the Skokomish Wilderness Study Area in the Olympic National Forest. Requires the President to make recommendations to Congress regarding such area. Provides that such area shall be administered to maintain its presently existing wilderness character.
