Panama Canal Appropriations Authorization Act, Fiscal Year 1985 - Authorizes appropriations for the Panama Canal Commission for FY 1985 for: (1) operating expenses; (2) capital outlay; and (3) reimbursement of other agencies. Authorizes additional appropriations for the Commission for FY 1985 as may be necessary for specified purposes.
Directs the President to try to continue the availability after FY 1984 of military postal services, commissaries and military exchanges to all employees of the Panama Canal Commission who are U.S. citizens and their dependents. Authorizes appropriations to compensate such employees if the availability of such services, commissaries, and exchanges is not continued.
