Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to engage in a feasibility study for the Prairie Bend unit, Pick-Sloan Missouri River basin program, Nebraska, for water resources development, fish and wildlife habitat management, public outdoor recreation, flood control, and other appropriate purposes.
Requires such study to include a detailed report on any effects the proposed project may have on the wildlife habitat, including the habitat of the sandhill crane and the whooping crane.
Conditions such study on agreement by the State of Nebraska, or another non-Federal entity, to participate and share in their costs.
