Includes service in the Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II as creditable service for purposes of civil service retirement.
Requires affected individuals to: (1) file appropriate written application to the Office of Personnel Management within 14 months of enactment of this Act; (2) be currently subject to the civil service retirement system; and (3) make required deposits to the Civil Service Retirement and Disability Fund with respect to service in the Corps.
Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentalities Employees' Retirement Credit Act of 1986 - Includes as creditable service for purposes of civil service retirement any service performed after June 18, 1952, and before January 1, 1966, as an employee paid from nonappropriated funds of the military if such service involved conducting an arts and crafts, drama, music, library, service club, youth activities, sports, or recreation program for armed forces personnel. Directs the Office of Personnel Management to accept the certification of the head of a nonappropriated fund instrumentality concerning such service.
