IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES July 16, 1990 Mr. MCNULTY (for himself, Mr. SCHUMER, Mr. MARTIN of New York, Mr. DAVIS, Mr. FRANK, and Mr. STUDDS) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Ways and Means A BILL Relating to the creditability of certain temporary service with the Bureau of the Census in connection with unemployment compensation. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That, notwithstanding any other provision of law, services performed after April 20, 1990, by individuals appointed to temporary positions within the Bureau of the Census for purposes relating to the 1990 decennial census of population shall constitute `Federal service' for purposes for section 8501 of subchapter I of title 5, United States Code.
