A BILL
To amend title 18, United States Code, to make it unlawful for any
person to knowingly possess stolen firearms or stolen ammunition.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. PROHIBITION AGAINST KNOWING POSSESSION OF STOLEN FIREARMS OR
STOLEN AMMUNITION.
Section 922(j) of title 18, United States Code, is amended--
(1) by inserting ``possess,'' after ``receive,''; and
(2) by inserting ``either before or after it was stolen,''
after ``commerce,''.
