Mr. Delahunt introduced the following bill; which was referred to the

A BILL
To authorize and request the President to award the Medal of Honor to
James L. Cadigan of Hingham, Massachusetts.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled,
SECTION 1. AUTHORIZATION AND REQUEST FOR AWARD OF MEDAL OF HONOR.
Notwithstanding the time limitations specified in section 3744(b)
of title 10, United States Code, the President is authorized and
requested to award the Medal of Honor to James L. Cadigan of Hingham,
Massachusetts, for conspicuous acts of gallantry at the risk of his
life and beyond the call of duty in an assault to secure high ground
north of Zerf, Germany, on February 26, 1945, during World War II.
