Provides that the Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia shall appoint a Special Prosecutor of the United States to investigate and prosecute offenses arising out of the 1972 Presidential election campaign.
States that the Special Prosecutor shall not be subject to the supervision or control of the President, except that the President may remove the Special Prosecutor from office for neglect of duty or malfeasance in office, but for no other cause.
