Federal Financial Disclosure Act

Federal Financial Disclosure Act - Provides for public disclosure by Members of the House of Representatives, Members of the United States Senate, Justices and judges of the United States courts, all officers and employees of the House, Senate, and executive branch whose per annum salary is $18,000 or more, and policy-making officials of the executive branch as designated by the Civil Service Commission, but including the President, Vice President, and Cabinet Members; and by candidates for the House of Representatives and the Senate, the Presidency, and the Vice-Presidency. Gives the House Committee on Standards of Conduct, the Senate Select Committee on Standards of Conduct, the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, and the Attorney General of the United States appropriate jurisdiction.

Requires such financial report to include: (1) the gross income of each official, his spouse and dependent children; (2) the names and addresses of all persons and organizations from which compensation was received; (3) gross income derived from business enterprises; (4) itemization of all gains from property dealings; (5) source of interest income, rental income, royalties and dividends; (6) from whom he received assistance in the discharge of indebtedness; and (7) itemization of income derived from partnerships or professional groups and income derived from an estate or trust.

Sets forth penalties of a fine of $1,000 and/or imprisonment for one year for willful failure to file such a financial report or for filing a false report.
