A bill to amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to regulate the amounts of lead and cadmium which may be released from glazed ceramic or enamel dinnerware.

Provides for the regulation of the amounts of lead and cadmium which may be released from glazed ceramic or enamel dinnerware under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.

Provides for a testing procedure to insure compliance with standards set out in the Act. Requires manufacturers and importers to label dinnerware in accordance with regulations under the Act.

Requires the Food and Drug Administration to undertake an educational program to alert the public to the dangers of lead and cadmium released from dinnerware.
