A bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to include as creditable service for purposes of the civil service retirement system certain periods of service performed in Federal-State cooperative programs, and for other purposes.

Includes, as creditable service for purposes of the civil service retirement system, periods of service performed in Federal-State cooperative programs, during which the individual: (1) performed Federal functions pursuant to an Act of Congress and under an approved Federal-State cooperative agreement; (2) was under Federal supervision; and (3) was on a payroll for such services and was paid, in whole or in part, from Federal funds, with his payroll status being reported to the Government agency concerned.
