Directs that orders of a State court relative to the custody of children of divorced or separated parents be given full faith and credit by every other State until such issuing court no longer has, under the law of the State in which it is located, or declines to exercise, jurisdiction over modifications of such orders.
Defines the term State to mean any State, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and any territory or possession of the United States.
