A bill to amend title 38 of the United States Code to provide for the payment of supplemental tuition allowances for certain veterans pursuing educational programs.

Provides for payment of a supplemental tuition allowance to each qualified veteran upon application to the Administrator of Veterans' Affairs.

Limits such allowance to no more than $800, the first $400 of the tuition cost being paid by the veteran, the Administrator paying 80 percent of the next $1,000 for the school year.

Requires assurances from the educational institution that the tuition charged the veteran is equivalent to that charged nonveteran students and that all fees are included in an itemization presented to the Administrator.
