Amends the Communications Act of 1934 to set forth provisions for the licensing of commercial cable television systems by the Federal Communication Commission.
States that the maximum term of a license granted under this Act shall be three years, renewable for an additional three year term.
Requires any commercial cable television system in operation on the date of enactment of this Act to apply for a license in accordance with this Act in order to continue in operation.
