H.R. 1136 — A bill to amend the Social Security Act and other Acts to make certain that recipients of supplemental security income benefits, recipients of social services, recipients of aid to families with veterans' benefit programs, and certain other Federal and federally assisted programs will not have the amount of such benefits, services, aid, or payments reduced because of increases in monthly social security benefits, and to provide that cost-of-living increases in annuity, pension, retirement, disability, or other employment-related benefits being paid to an individual under a public program, occurring after such individual's initial entitlement to such benefits, shall not be included in such individual's income in determining his or her eligibility for supplemental security income benefits. | PoliFocus
